Janet Dearmon in Concord decorated this rocking chair for the 24-hr Rock-A-Thon that took place October 17th and 18th in the Cabarrus Arena. Janet used a decoupage technique to make the chair look paisley...amazing!  Many, many hours after beginning the process, the chair was finished, and it was beautiful. 

Bank of the Carolinas' chair went up against 17 others.  All of  which were decorated by businesses throughout the community.  Janet's chair received FIRST PLACE!  Way to go! 

Thank you to Janet Dearmon, Elizabeth Powell, Mellie McClellan, Rachel Savage, Michelle Riley, Rachelle Morrow, and all of the friends and family who made it out to help rock!  All proceeds from the rockers, sponsors and volunteers went directly to the Senior Center.
